Lake James State Park, Paddy's Creek Beach, will be the site of the 2022 Lake James Dragon Boat Festival sponsored by UNC Blue Ridge Health.

Forming a dragon boat team is easy! Find yourself 20 co-workers, friends and/or family members to join you in this exciting event. Included in your team registration is a practice session where we will show you how to paddle and race. Practice sessions and race day include all of the necessary equipment such as a boat, paddles, life vests, a drum​and a steersperson/coach.
